Violet is one of my Watch Me Grow babies. These are my favorite sessions because I get to see a newborn through their first year. I love, love, love seeing them change and grow. It’s always amazing to see the changes and milestones. Anyway, Violet is 6 months old and the sweetest, most content little lady. We had so much fun!

I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things after Maternity leave. I’m now taking sessions through the summer and into the Fall. For now, here is my 3 kiddos in Wildwood, NJ. We did a super quick (and I mean quick as in 10 minutes and they were already covered head to toe in sand, including Taylor) session. I’m hoping to get some of these hung on our newly painted living room wall in the next couple of weeks. I’ll make sure to share when it’s done.

I got to meet little V and just over 2 weeks old. She was prepped and ready to go, but felt like giving me a little challenge. I loved every minute…how could you not looking into those beautiful eyes of hers.
Here’s a few of my favorites, but I’ll be heading back this weekend to get some of her beautiful parents too. Thanks H family for a nice afternoon. See you soon.

As we ring in 2011 I have so much to look forward to in the coming year. Baby #3 ( A GIRL!) is on the way, a lot of clients to thank for the 2010 year, and a lot of new things to come in the next year. I’ve learned a lot in the past 2 years and have been contemplating a change in the structure of my pricing. I’ve gone back and forth on offering session CD’s to my clients and last year did a combination of prints and digital file packaging. With new baby coming, and each day becoming busier I want to simplify the choices my clients have, without taking away from my time with them. My most favorite part of being a photographer is capturing the personalities of so many amazing people. This year I want to focus more on providing my clients with beautiful images, without taking too much time away from my family. I’m hoping I’ve found a good balance in my newest pricing structure. I will continue to offer unique products and custom photography. This change will not effect the quality of images or products that I take pride in. If interested in booking a session and seeing the new prices, please contact me. Packages start at $350.
I am looking forward to a 2011 filled with seeing my current clients and meeting many new clients too!

Black Friday is over, but you still have so many sales going on. Don’t forget about your small businesses out there! Today is officially small business Saturday. What does that mean? Well, it’s all set up by American Express:
American Express has announced its first Small Business Saturday this week on November 27 in an effort to simultaneously help small businesses and the U.S. economy — and its own public image — using Facebook as a central part of the campaign. The company is set to award registered American Express card holders a $25 credit for spending at least that amount at a local, independent business on Saturday. Thus far the Small Business Saturday Page has about 882,000 Likes.
The Facebook integration for this program is multi-faceted. First, the Small Business Saturday Facebook Pages is set up so that American Express will donate $1 for every new Like up to $1 million to Girls Inc., a non-profit working to help young women gain confidence.

I’m back and blogging. It’s been too long, but I have good reason and some fun news to share. First, my boys both had a big birthday these past 2 months. Brendan turned 4 and Ryan turned 2! Ahh, I can’t believe how fast they grow. It’s been such a fun ride and each day just brings new (and FUN) surprises. Here’s a few pics from right before their Lil Monster birthday party at My Gym in Chantilly. Pictures to come from the party, but for now just some family shots. My mom, dad, sister and new nephew came down for the fun. Aunt Kiki got the boys these awesome monster hats from Macy’s. So cute and the boys LOVE them.
AND…if you haven’t heard yet, we are expecting our first little girl in April. I’m thrilled to be adding some pink to the mix. Here’s are little girl at almost 18 weeks.

First, I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA for the past month. I’ll be back later this week to fill in the missing weeks. Lot’s of pictures to share and some BIG news! It took a few months, but I finally got to capture Kayla, the winner of our Summer 2010 Cutest Kid Contest. Kayla just turned 3 and is no doubt a CUTE kid. You can see by the images below that she just loved to show off her girly side. She kept me moving (up and down the hills we were near to be exact), but also loved to show me her ballet skills too. It was a nice change from my all boy household and I had a great time. Thanks Kelly!
